Adobe has split Lightroom into two versions Adobe Lightroom CC and Adobe Lightroom Classic CC, basically, the Adobe Lightroom CC is focused on maintaining consistency across mobile and desktop features, they say to create a seamless workflow regardless of which device you are using. Adobe Lightroom CC is defined as mobile cloud-based editing.

The ‘proper’ Adobe Lightroom we all know and love is now called Adobe Lightroom Classic.
